Ok, so I was reading about the consumer report regarding the iPhone 4. For those who don’t know, the iPhone series (3G, 3Gs, 4G) was created with a metal bracket around the sides of the phone (part of the phone aesthetics) which is also used as the phone’s antenna. The problem now is that touching the antenna area at the lower left side of the phone reduces the signal to the point reception can be lost. Not to hard for those right-handed, but easily done if your left-handed. Apparently the gap for the antenna is there, so basically you’re shorting it out. LOL :D

So the solution? So far the best solution is to get a cover for the phone – not such a bad idea anyhow, for protection. The runner up? Duct tape. :)

I don’t know about you, but if someone said to me “The brand new car you wanted now has a problem with the radio, but we’ve decided to charge you the same price.”, I’d go elsewhere, or wait for it to be fixed before buying. ;)
